CALL FOR TENDER: GENERAL INFORMATION

Procurement authority activity: Promotion and development of electricity generation and transmission infrastructure. Coordination of electricity exchanges between ECOWAS member states.

Title: Facility for studies and support for the implementation of electricity generation, storage, transmission, network management, and market management projects.

Brief description of the contract: The contract will involve conducting feasibility studies, environmental and social impact assessments, geotechnical investigations, and financial structuring for generation, storage, transmission, and network management projects, or any other area falling under the Planning, Investment Programming, and Environmental Protection (PIPES) Department within the WAPP General Secretariat. For informational purposes, but not limited to, the projects include (i) the development of multi-site regional solar farms and (ii) the construction of high-voltage electrical interconnection lines.
