WAPP Secretary General visits Singrobo-Ahouaty Dam

On Friday 02 July 2021, the WAPP Secretary General, Mr. Siengui A. KI visited in the company of the ECOWAS Commissioner in charge of Energy and Mines, Mr. Sédiko DOUKA, the construction site of the Singrobo-Ahouaty hydropower dam project on the Bandama river (Côte d'Ivoire).

With a total cost of 220 million USD, the hydroelectric dam of Singrobo-Ahouaty will have a capacity of 44 MW and an annual available energy capacity of 217 GWh. The project is scheduled to be commissioned by 2023.
