From Wednesday, Semptember 19, 2018, experts from the ECOWAS Energy community will be meeting to adopt the draft final report of the ECOWAS Master plan for the Generation and Transmission of Electrical Energy for the period 2019 - 2033.

The current Master plan is for the period of 2012 - 2025, but needs to be revised to be in line with the changes of our time. In January, 2018, consultants and experts had already met to revise the Master Plan. This meeting is set to review the work done by the concerned to have a clear a reliable vision for the progress of WAPP projects.
